The Japanese brand TIGHTBOOT, led by professional figure skater Shinpei Ueno, has established itself around the world in recent years. To achieve this, the brand has teamed up with various collaborators such as BLOHM. Now, he looks to continue his rise by teaming up with Nike and the Nike SB team on an SB Dunk Low.
Previewed by Ueno himself, the next release reinvents the SB Dunk Low's upper - fusing textures and materials into a unique arrangement. First, the base uses a hairy suede in black. Compensating for this, white overlays with a scratchy texture team up with a matching lining and laces. A reflective black Swoosh appears on the side, with the medial presumably having the same style. The padded tongue sees a dotted arrangement flanked by TIGHTBOOTH branding next to the signature Nike SB tag. Completing this initial preview, an orange TIGHTBOOTH branded lining matches the small side label below the Swoosh.
